Set your stream title and category
Help viewers understand what you are broadcasting.

Open stream information
Go to Stream Information in your creator dashboard. Review your title, description, category, language, and available content classification fields.
Choose accurate details
Use a title that describes the broadcast. Select the game or category that matches your content, and review audience and content-warning settings before going live.
Categories and discovery shelves depend on the channel information you save. Choosing a category does not guarantee featured placement or a particular audience size.
Save before broadcasting
Save your changes using the page’s save control, then review your channel. Editing stream information does not start or stop OBS.
If your planned broadcast changes, update its details so viewers are not misled by an old title or category.
